Water Slide and Bounce House Rentals in Plant City
Plant City is the one Hillsborough County town on our regular delivery list, and we're glad to make the trip. Most parties here end up in one of three places: a backyard, a pavilion at the ball park, or a church lawn. Here's how to get each one right.
Booking a Plant City Park Pavilion
The City of Plant City books pavilions online. A permit costs $30 and has to be booked at least three days ahead, and pavilions run from 8 a.m. to sunset. Expecting 50 or more guests? The city also requires a Special Event Permit, so check that box early.
Good pavilions for a kids' party:
- Ellis-Methvin Park (2601 E Cherry St). EM-1, EM-2 and EM-3 each seat about 40.
- Mike E. Sansone Park (N Park Rd). This is home of Plant City Little League. SAN-2 and SAN-4 seat 40 and SAN-3 seats 16, so it's a natural spot for an end-of-season team party.
- Snowden Park. SNO-3 seats about 112, enough for a reunion or a church picnic.
The catch: the city doesn't guarantee electricity at any pavilion. Every bounce house and slide runs on a blower that needs steady power, so for a park party, add our generator ($125). A bounce house with no power is just a tarp.
If the city or your league asks for a certificate of insurance, we're fully insured and can send one on request.
What Works for Plant City Parties
- Team parties at the ball fields. A 13x13 bounce house ($169) or the XL Fun Dome (20x20, $239) works well when the whole roster shows up.
- Hot-weather birthdays. Go big with the 19' Rip Tide Dual Lane water slide at $339, or pick a pool combo starting at $259.
- Church and school events. Our dunk tank ($299) holds 350 gallons and fills in about 20 minutes. Dunkees must be teens or adults at least 4 ft tall. It needs 6 ft of width and 8 ft of overhead clearance.
Plant City's Calendar
Plant City runs on strawberry time. The Florida Strawberry Festival is March 4–14, 2027, the Christmas parade is in early December, and late spring through summer is water slide season. Book two to three weeks ahead for any weekend.
Why Call a Lakeland Company?
There are rental companies on the Hillsborough side too. Here's our pitch: we're a family-run crew, and 340+ Google reviewers have given us an average of five stars. We include setup and pickup, we bring the generator when the pavilion has no outlet, and Plant City is only about 25 miles from our yard, so it's a drive we make all the time.

Plant City FAQ
Do Plant City park pavilions have outlets?
Sometimes, but the city doesn't guarantee power at any pavilion. Rent our generator so the blower keeps running all day.
How far ahead do I need the pavilion permit?
At least three days for the $30 pavilion permit. If you're expecting 50 or more people, you'll also need the city's Special Event Permit, which takes longer, so start early.
Can I use a water slide at a city park?
Ask the city when you book your pavilion. If water isn't allowed, or there's no spigot nearby, go with a dry bounce house or a combo run dry.
